Success Story - Red Light Therapy Pad

Success Story - Red Light Therapy Pad

We're thrilled to share this success story from one of our customers!
Meet Darby, an older mare who bravely faced a check ligament injury last December. Despite the initial setbacks, her journey took a positive turn thanks to our Red Light Therapy Pad.
Here's what her owner had to say:
"My older mare sustained a check ligament injury at the beginning of December. She really went to town on it and the initial scan showed three ugly holes with only a little bit of connecting tissue left in between. From previous experience, we knew that she wouldn’t cope with complete box rest, so she went out in a small field.
When the vet came back to scan in January, it wasn’t good news and she hadn’t made any progress. We gave her another six weeks, keeping everything in her management the same, but introducing the red light therapy pad twice daily. It is so easy to use and simple to incorporate into her daily routine as you can pop it on whilst you change rugs/groom or do other tasks.
She can be quite fussy about having boots on, but isn’t at all bothered by the pad. The fit is really ergonomic, it doesn’t get hot and is very easy to wipe clean.
The vet came back to rescan 6 weeks later and was amazed by the improvement shown on the scan. All the holes have started to fill in and fibres can be seen again. We continue to use the pad daily and the prognosis is now completely different with the vet suggesting walk work under saddle again by mid-April "
Update continues: "Darby has now had the all clear and can start walking under saddle!"
Such incredible progress!
Why Red Light Therapy Works Wonders
We believe that Red Light Therapy is a true addition to any horse tack locker because it harnesses the power of light to activate cellular regeneration and promote healing. When applied to injured or stressed areas, red light stimulates the production of ATP (adenosine triphosphate), the energy source for cellular activities. This increased energy helps cells to function optimally, accelerating tissue repair and reducing inflammation. Additionally, red light therapy improves blood circulation, delivering vital nutrients and oxygen to the affected area, further enhancing the healing process. With its non-invasive nature and proven effectiveness, red light therapy is a must-have tool for every horse owner looking to support their equine companion's well-being!
